What Is Aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy: A form of alternative medicine in which healing effects are ascribed to the aromatic compounds in essential oils and other plant extracts.
The use of aromatherapy can be linked back to the time of our ancient ancestors. Aromatic medicine has been a source of healing the mind, body, and spirit for thousands of years. Alchemists of old understood that certain aromas can heal the mind by inducing "altered states of consciousness", aiding in feelings of peace, serenity, happiness, and euphoria. The blending of certain oils have been used in religious ceremonies and sacred rites of passage to anoint the individual and to prepare him or her for spiritual awakening.
Various herbs, plants, spices, flowers, and woods have been labeled as man's first medicine. Essential oils work on the cellular level within the human body, as well as on the energetic, mental, and emotional levels. Clinical research has proven that essential oils have the highest frequency of any natural substances known to man. What this means from an energetic perspective, is that any substances that vibrate high on the frequency scale can prevent the development and/or destroy diseases and illnesses which are of a lower vibrational frequency. Essential oils enhance, strengthen, and protect the aura from threats of harm, environmental damage, and pollution.
Essential oils can be used to aid with almost any human condition. The benefits include:

Anti-fungal/Fungicidal: prevents mold and fungi.
